I'm not in tiny footprint mode, the apps should be listed there, no? I think it was caused by: I'm out of ideas, my disc use sometimes hits 100%, and I can't find the culprit without the app tab showing how much crt time the various apps are using. I have tried: I have tried checking online, at microsoft, ran virus/malware scans, updated system file checker and scanned, no problems found by any scan. is there a setting in settings that I might have accidently changed? otherwise I might have a virus not being detected by webroot or malwarebytes.
anyone else had same problem have an idea what's happened.
Task view in windows 10 how to#
Microsoft keeps telling me everything about task manager except how to deal with a blank app tab. I have been using task manager for 15 years, I know how to use the tabs, I can't find anyone on line except to suggest a solution: run sfc. did I set an app setting that might have done this? if so, any idea where the setting is? This is a new problem, my apps have always been listed in task manager so I could see who the disk hogs were. finally just ran system file checker, found d no problems, but still no apps on the app tab. In last week, the "app" tab shows no apps, it is blank' there is a message where the apps belong saying "no data available." deleting usage and reopening task manager does nothing.
The app tab in win 10 task manager suddenly is empty, "no data available" ran sfc no help.
